Kodjin FHIR Server Certified by gematik for TI Interoperability

Kodjin FHIR Server has successfully passed Gematik certification, confirming its readiness for secure, standards-based integration within Germany’s digital health infrastructure.

Kodjin FHIR Server has been officially certified by gematik GmbH for interoperability under § 373 SGB V, Level 3.0, verifying our conformance with the German Telematikinfrastruktur (TI) requirements – the backbone of digital healthcare in Germany.

This certification confirms that Kodjin meets the standards necessary for safe, standardized, and interoperable data exchange within Germany’s national e-health infrastructure. It ensures that healthcare applications built on or integrated with Kodjin can securely communicate patient, clinical, and administrative data in compliance with legal and technical specifications.

We have successfully completed the gematik testing procedures, validating interoperability across key FHIR modules, including:

Account, CodeSystem, Composition, Condition, Coverage, Encounter, Patient, Practitioner, Procedure, RelatedPerson, and ValueSet.

With this milestone, Kodjin proves to be a trusted choice for healthcare software vendors and organizations building solutions for the German market – whether integrating with existing systems or launching new TI-compliant products.

If you’re building a solution for the German healthcare system and need a certified FHIR backend, we’re here to help.
