What is Kodjin?

Kodjin is a brand created by the Edenlab software development company. Under the Kodjin brand, we provide our own FHIR solutions, such as an FHIR server, terminology service, data mapper, and FHIR profiler, all created with a deep understanding of the healthcare domain and its challenges and with the aim to make healthcare data management simpler and safer.

What is your experience with FHIR?

Our team of FHIR developers, business analysts, and architects have been working in the healthcare domain since 2014, solving many issues connected with data management and regulations. Gradually, FHIR development became our major field of expertise, and we developed a national platform with more than 35M users for the Ukrainian Ministry of Health.

Now we not only provide software development services to our customers but have also created several of our own FHIR products under the Kodjin brand that are being used by multiple healthcare companies in the US and EU.

How does Kodjin manage security concerns?

All of the Kodjin FHIR solutions are created under the SMART on FHIR framework, which enables the development of interoperable healthcare applications that can be securely integrated with electronic health records systems.

Kodjin also employs RBAC and ABAC models defined in the FHIR specification, which allow fine-grained control over access to sensitive data, authorizing requests based on roles, ownership, and other attributes.
